- Is it a waste exercise ?

NO. It is not . The assignment is most innovative one. It is most ATARANGHI assignment . Have you ever done such assignment as a student ! Mostly No.. Have you ever got ... MONEY.. MARKs, MASTHI, GYAN..

- How this campaign help students to understand OB HRM courses ?

You need to experiment the assignment for yourself. There are no invigilators for you. You need to APPLY the assignment for learning. It is you who will be doing. Faculty will help you to get in and emerge successful.

- You apply the OB concepts for yourself.. For example.. Innovation is the concept in OB. Are you interested to experiment , apply Innovation concept in learning OB HRM ? The method of teaching used here enables you to walk on this innovation path and realize it.

- For examaple, there is a concept called Work Values..

As a student of OB you need to understand what is Work Values, and how this effects organisational performance. For example, as you engage in this assignment you need to reflect on what are the work values of yourself ? What are the work values of your own colleagues. The benefit you get from this only if you apply the subject concept work values ( 1 ) here and now, and ( 2) for yourself. ( 3 ) on yourself

For example, in HRM, you want to understand - how much to pay for sales personnel as you engage in sales job !

As you do sales campaign of Gandhi books you need to reflect on this question and find out answers . Dont believe faculty knowledge.. It is copied from somewhere.. It might not be true. You go to Ganga and see what is Ganga... ,

Dont go by what knowledge in library text books try to guide you. All these years you have believed what is there in library, in book and what is told by your teacher / parents . now the time has come for you to see for yourself what is reality.

For example, what competencies a sales campaign person need to have ? It is billion dollar question. How to assess such competencies. ? . What methods may be applied for this task by HRM people is the subject matter of this assignment .

- How this assignment is an innovation ?

I call this innovation because,

" it does not do different things but the same things differently and produce an amazing results '.

All is fine with OB HRM learning. Small change is needed.. It is like this.. Dsh is good.. Thadka karne me galthi hai ! .. This assignment assumes the same thig.

For three reasons it is innovation .

- You are getting Rs 30 as commission for selling Rs 90 books worth. 33 % margin . No where in the world such business activity exits .

- In addition to 33 % real economic benefit, You are getting 25 marks for doing this assignment ..The percentage again is 25 % ( 25 out of 100 marks ) . It is 25 % practical, 33 % productive experiment.

- This assignment will makes you to learn OB HRM in MOST PLEASURABLE AND EXCITING AND ENTERPRISING ONE. Some of you want to write exam in the college and get that 25 marks .. It is OK. .. surely that experience is not as enjoyable and exciting and pleasurable as this one is.
